The challenge

How it works
The system detects grid loss and transfers critical loads to the battery within milliseconds.
An integrated STS / ATS cabinet continuously monitors grid voltage and frequency.
On grid loss the system switches critical loads to battery with seamless on/off-grid transfer in ≤20 ms.
The PCS supplies backed-up loads; PV can keep charging the battery during a prolonged outage.
When the grid recovers, the system resynchronises and switches back automatically.
